Video Wig Review: Angelica by Noriko in Dark Chocolate – Customized

Here’s another video showing a before and after, albeit on two different wigs (in the same style) this time. When I ordered Angelica from Gallery of Wigs and had Kathy trim six inches off it, I decided to show my other Angelica in Almond Spice in the video also, so people could better see the difference since it’s hard to visualize without the comparison. Online today I saw someone else talking about having some inches trimmed off Angelica, so I figured I’d go ahead and upload this for them to look at, so here you go.

For another quick before and after of a customized wig, check out my Amanda by Jon Renau review.

Disclaimer: I bought this with my own money and all opinions are my own. Your mileage may vary.

  1. Amazing how great a darker color looks on you – beautiful. You mentioned Brandi – have you ever bought her? If so, could you do a review on that one please. It has great reviews but seeing wigs on you helps see how thick they are. Your other Angelica in almond spice-r, is also a lovely color on you and really shows it’s coloring in the longer length – very pretty.

    • Ha – you read my mind! I ordered a Brandi last week and it should arrive tomorrow, so I should be able to get a video up soon. I’ve had it many times and years ago I did a review that I can no longer find; so I’ve been meaning to get my hands on one to review it again. It got me loads of compliments when I wore it before. I’m working on re-stocking my faves from before, so I am going to get my hands on a new Shilo too.

  2. I like the shorter length. For the first time I will say that the color is not my favorite for you. Maybe it’s my mood but I like all the other shades I’ve seen you in very much. And all the clothes and wig styles.

    • LOL a lot of people say that about the Dark Chocolate. It’s tough because it matches my real hair so well, BUT in the synthetic hair fibers the darker browns come off very “flat” which is what I think happened here. I don’t use this color near as much as I used to.

  3. I love the dark chocolate color! I never get tired of seeing them. (And you can tell I’m way behind on your posts, I’m working my way reverse chronologically.) I love the style, but I would want it even shorter, maybe 2 inches longer than the shoulder. But would it be worth it to pay for such a long wig and then chop it off? Especially when there are so many different kinds of wigs out there!

    • Yeah it probably isn’t necessary to get this one and then trim it. But after wearing it long for awhile it is good to know you could trim off the frizzy ends and it would still look good. 🙂
