Video Wig Review: Vogue by Ellen Wille in Berenstein Rooted

Back in the land of online shopping, I snagged another Ellen Wille on clearance a week or so ago, and I’m finally getting a chance to upload it.

It’s a lower-priced long wig for the EW line, so I do like that about it, but it’s nothing spectacular. Although I tried a long wig with a more spectacular price and wasn’t bowled over by that one either, so there you go. It’s not bad at all, but it isn’t thrilling either; just a nice long wig in a pretty color. I think the video says the rest of what there is to say about it. Probably gonna sell this one, so let me know if you’re interested! 🙂

  1. I do love this color as well. I might be interested depending on what price you are selling it for? 🙂 The length is nice as well. Thanks for the review!

      • Okay, sounds great. I’m just going to re-watch the video again in a little when I’m off work and then I will let you know. If that’s okay? 🙂

        • Okay, sorry, I just watched again and I think those bangs may be a touch too short on me. You are right – things do look longer on you. I noticed with the Scarlett as well, but I was very happy with how she sat on me so no issues! Oddly I think we are the same height – from what I read in another post you had made, but they do definitely look longer on you. 🙂 It’s too bad as this color is gorgeous! Thank you anyway!

  2. Very interesting. I always thought this had a long heavy bang from the promo pics. This one doesn’t look to have bangs? Great summer color!

  3. I really like the color and style on you. It’s one of the most natural looking long wigs that I have ever seen. If I were younger I’d be ordering it right now.

  4. This really does look great on you. Love everything about this one, except for the fact that it’s not a lace front. When I bought my very first LF earlier this year, I was hooked. Over the course of a couple of years prior, I purchased 4 or 5 RW Always. It was my absolute favorite. Now I can’t even wear them anymore because they’re not LFs and I hate the hair line. One of them has only been worn once.

  5. I tried Vogue too but cut it short and wore it a couple of times before tossing. EW short wigs have fantastic styling which make them quite avant garde – tres chic, in my opinion. Somehow this is missing once length comes into play. The fiber is mono-acrylic (faux fur) which makes the wigs finger styleable and gives one (me anyway) a strong personality look. I love the natural sheen as compared to the JR plastic (polyester) glare. I realize this negative take on JR might offend JR enthusiasts but after wearing EW, my large inventory of JR, Tony of Beverly, etc. remain untouched and stored. I am so addicted to EW/Perucci however the lifespan of these delicate fibers is disappointing. Wish I hadn’t spent so much money on other brands – such a waste. Cynthia, have you tried any human hair wigs? I so enjoy your videos and stories (nail colors too) – keep it coming! Warmly, Deb

    • Gosh i am so behind on comments! I have tried a few HH wigs but they are not for me. Too much work plus buying a decent one is such a minefield…I have my bio hair if I want to mess with styling; my wigs are to avoid all that. So I just never really got into them.
