Stress
This morning I yelled
At a piece of cheese and knew
I was in trouble
For the prompt, “Amuse,” at One Single Impression. This may be the only amusing poem I’ve ever written. As well as the only haiku.

Haha, wow. Good one. Reminds me of the haikus I wrote in college!
Guess I’m still writing them. Well, just this one anyway.
If this was your first time, then great effort!
It happens!
I know, doesn’t it?
Direct and to the point! I guess a lot of people consider this a Haiku (5-7-5 as opposed to a more strict definition — I guess the “English Language Haiku — though 3-5-3 would be more appropriate in English) but I will take this as just a great short poem! Just one of those great short free verse thoughts!
I was considering it a haiku, but short poem works too!
Amusing indeed. Nicely done.
Thanks!
Hahaha…lots of inanimate objects catch heck from me in my life too!
Yeah, I definitely go after more than cheese.
Oh, this is so good!
this is cool,
Thank you!
Kind of curious to know what offense the cheese gave…
It would not relinquish its plastic wrapper in a timely manner. Bastard cheese!
Bwah ha ha ha ha!!!!
Ha! Great thought. We’ve all been there. Some more than others…
True…
Doing something out of the ordinary does give one pause. Yelling at cheese is amusing I would say.
Funny!
Thanks 🙂
